Chiropractic Medicine
Chiropractic medicine treats the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system using manual therapies such as spinal manipulation, which includes manipulation of the spine, other joints, and soft tissues. These manipulations restore mobility in joints that may have become hypomobile or misaligned due to tissue injury. By alleviating pain and muscle tightness, chiropractic adjustments assist in healing injured tissues.
Chiropractic care typically focuses on treating neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to: back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.
